Lisa Villamil is a closet futurist with a passion for tracking emerging media and industry trends. She’s a research editor at Cannes Lions International Creativity Festival in France and a professor at UNC School of Media and Journalism where she teaches UX and interactive design, data visualization, design thinking and theory. When not teaching or reading tea leaves, Lisa consults from her Washington D.C. base on diverse projects including start-ups in the U.S. and Middle East, UX and brand strategy for digital agencies in the U.S. and Europe, museum and non-profit interactive exhibits and games, and publication and archival design.
