In a nearly two-decade career in journalism, Chris has gone skateboarding with Tony Hawk, eaten Chinese food with Kinko's founder Paul Orfalea and quizzed governors, senators and mayors about public policy. A true generalist, Chris is equally comfortable poring over policy papers and annual reports as he is searching the alleyways of Tokyo to find the best jazz clubs. Chris began his career in journalism as an editor at Los Angeles Magazine and his work has appeared in a wide variety of publications, including The Los Angeles Times, Institutional Investor, Huffington Post, The Oxford American, Preservation and many others. Recently, he served as editor-in-chief of Photon, a publication that covers the solar energy industry. In addition to his work as a journalist, Chris is a content marketing veteran. He has worked for financial services clients such as the New York Stock Exchange, Fidelity Investments and Schwab, non-profits like the Appalachian Mountain Club and airlines including American, Southwest and Continental.
